Can several people edit the same grocery list?

Yes. Invited editors can add, edit, and check off items. Changes normally sync across connected devices in near real time, but network or service interruptions can delay updates. View-only members can read without making changes.

Can I add groceries by scanning a barcode?

Yes. On a groceries list, tap the barcode button and point your camera at a product. MyListResort looks it up and adds it for you, no typing.

Is there a grocery list app without ads?

This one. There are no ads of any kind, your list and item names are never used to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell personal information. One optional household upgrade funds the app, and that is the whole business model. You can export everything you have put in, at any time, on any tier.

Is the shared grocery list free?

Yes. Shared lists, real-time sync, aisle grouping, barcode scanning and expiry reminders are all free. Free covers 2 shared lists with up to 4 people on it, and freshness tracking on 5 items at a time; the paid Household tier lifts those caps. At the limit, sharing another list needs Household. At the limit, another item can't start freshness tracking until you stop tracking one.

Most households land here after the second grocery app fell out of sync. My list resort, my last resort: either way you read it, the milk gets bought exactly once.
